Okay so I’m a little behind schedule. I was supposed to get our Changing Breed character bios up on Monday, and I just didn’t have time to do so. We’ve been trying to do some Spring cleaning around the house, plus I am starting to get back on track for putting together something to playtest my Altered Realities gaming system.
A close friend convinced me to playtest it with a superhero setting rather than a Star Wars setting. Reasoning? Star Wars is pretty damned specific when it comes to how the Force works, not to mention ship combat, lightsabers and everything else. He figured (and I agree with him) that a superhero setting where things can work the way they need to for the system and with more generalized and generic powers, that it would be easier to see the flaws in the basic game system rather than wondering if its the fault of a complex setting.
In other words use a basic, fairly simple setting (and any superhero setting is fairly basic and generic, even if it’s set in one of the big 2) for our first test run of the system, rather than a setting with very specialized needs and specific power lists. So I’ve been working on that off and on.
I will get those bios up in the next couple of weeks, and I will also start posting bios and location info for our Curses of Night game as well.
